We’re excited to announce that we’re partnering with The Luccombe Hub School provider to broaden opportunities and strengthen support for our young people.
This collaboration allows us to share resources, expertise, and best practices, creating a richer and more flexible learning environment tailored to individual needs. Together, we’re committed to making a greater impact - supporting every learner to thrive both personally and academically.
At Abavia and The Luccombe Hub, we are committed to maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every learner, staff member, and visitor is treated with respect and dignity. This commitment is underpinned by a clear framework of policies and procedures designed by both providers to promote wellbeing, uphold legal and ethical standards, and ensure consistent, fair practice across all areas of our provision.
The purpose of this statement is to:
1.2 Consultation
Abavia will communicate all of The Luccombe Hub’s policies and procedures to all Abavia staff, relevant professionals and Luccombe Hub learners through inductions, meetings, day to day communications, staff meetings and training. All staff at Abavia who are working with referrals from The Luccombe Hub School adheres and follows in entirety to all Luccombe Hub Schools polices and procedures regarding the Learner.
This Statement of Intent affirms our ongoing dedication to best practice and our proactive approach to safeguarding, health and safety, behaviour management, staff development, and learner welfare.

- Clearly define expectations, roles, and responsibilities for all staff who are directly working with The Luccombe Hub referral learners
- Provide guidance on managing risks and responding appropriately to concerns or incidents
- Support continuous improvement through regular monitoring, training, and review
- Foster transparency and accountability in decision-making
- Comply with relevant legislation and statutory guidance
- Provide consistency for the Learner who is attending on the register roll at The Luccombe Hub.
